ZEDFactory's latest building system offers very lowcost superinsulated multi-storey earth-sheltered accommodation for hotels, student housing, live/work, artisan housing and even mixed use public or educational buildings capable of seating up to 500 people.

It is suitable for sites where the green open space is encouraged to flow over the building, and where relatively large developments need to fit inside a sensitive landscape rather than on it.

The accommodation is made up of Habitation/Studio steel pods stacked into a honeycomb to form two walls. Solar collectors form a glazed north-lit arcade over pedestrianised
streets, with the potential to create an off-grid high
density community.
