Bill Dunster
worked on the environmental strategy and façade design of this
high profile, long life, energy efficient office building adjacent to
the houses of parliament, London while working at Michael Hopkins &
Partners. Another member of the ZEDfactory team, Steve Harris, was one
of the package architects for the scheme and as such the practice has
valuable experience in high specification city centre office spaces. The
building features façade integrated ventilation systems and a host
of other low carbon technologies including twin skin facades, heat recovery
Munter Wheels, ground water cooling circuits and passive cooling systems.
