We know our brand of sustainable development as Zero (fossil) Energy Developments or ZED's. This comprehensive approach celebrates the reduction in demand for carbon intensive resources with a fresh design approach relevant to this new century - only possible with a mature understanding of both low carbon building physics and the need to futureproof major investments to meet the annual raising of environmental performance standards.

The specification of a ZED begins with an understanding of the ZEDstandards. These will change according to location and density. There are now many imitators of this concept - so it is worth checking what these performance standards really mean. On balance we are pleased that others are trying to replicate this concept - and will offer a certification service at both design stage and project completion for developments meeting the ZEDstandards
