High Rise

It is now widely accepted that the worlds major cities must include high rise buildings in their urban design to maximise use of space and provide the workspaces, homes and leisure facilities needed. It is also the case that high rise buildings make excellent surfaces for incorporating renewable energy technologies like PV's and wind turbines. The density of uses is perfect for maximising efficiencies of biomass CHP and the additional costs of building green can be overcome owing to the space versus gross area.
