ZEDfactory has extensive experience in masterplanning for schemes of up to 3000 units, most of which incorporate solar orientation, increases in density to help pay for renewable technologies and building fabric enhancements, and many other ZEDstandard measures. Our brand of masterplanning that takes account of such measures is called Solar Urbanism and is a new way of thinking about planning our communities making best use of natural resources at the same time as creating flexible living spaces and community spaces and amenity.
